Kindergarten Registration

Starting March 1, the elementary schools of the Santa Rita Union School District will begin accepting enrollment for Kindergarten for the 2012/2013 school year. Students must be 5 on or before November 1, 2012 and meet all California State Immunization Requirements.

Registration will take place at all school sites between the hours of 9:00 a.m. & 3:30 p.m.

Google Calendars

SRUSD has implemented a new calendar system using Google Calendar.

There are many calenders appearing on this website. Each school and department has their own and in turn the individual entries appear in the District Calender which consolidates all the events.

The District Calendar appears to the left of this post with the link "NEW - District Google Calendar". Each school and department website has a corresponding "Calendar" option.

YouTube for Education!!!

Google just released YouTube sites created for specifically for Education and Teachers. These sites are now available to Santa Rita teachers and staff. The only bad news may be that www.youtube.com itself is still blocked.

The YouTube links are located at the right side of each page on our website in a section labeled "21st Century Resources". This section will expand as more tools and sites designed to help teachers with Internet based tools are added.

WELCOME to the NEW Santa Rita Union School District website!

SRUSD is busy preparing to move into a new era of website management and staff participation. Using this website, along with Google Apps for Education (GAfE) our staff will be able to post news and events themselves making the website more informative than ever.

Over the next couple weeks, new content will be added. Please be patient with us as we get the website updated.
